A spectrophotometric detector with continuously
variable wavelengths in the range of 190 - 600 nm and a noise level ±
1.25 x 10-5 AU with an empty cell. The detector may be used for ordinary analytical chromatography and chromatography on microcolumns as well as for preparative chromatography, according to the selected cell (see below).
|
Connecting capillaries may be led out either from a front or a side panels of the detector. An appropriate time constant may be selected according to the type of analysis. The detector is equipped with a high standard IST deuterium lamp in a special socket making possible an easy changing. A recorder and an integrator may be connected to the detector output. A HPLC 02 analytical cell is a part of the detector.

![]() |
It is a processor version of a LCD 2082 detector
with a wavelength range of 190 - 600 nm and a noise level ±
1.25 x 10-5 AU with an empty cell.

Thus obtained scan can be used for determination of an optimum wavelength for particular analysis, or for a check for purity of a peak.
The individual programmes may be stored in a detector memory. All operations may be also performed in a manual mode.
The detector performs automatic wavelength calibration after lamp has been switched on, and the switching off the lamp may also be pre-programmed after completion of analysis.
The detector cell is replaceable from the side of the detector. A standard cell, preparative cell, or microcell may be used according to the type of analysis.
The start can be initiated either from a keyboard or with a switch on an injection valve.
A detector output may be recorded using an integrator and a recorder.

RIDK 102 Refractometer
It is a detector utilising the dependence of refractive index on sample concentration in a mobile phase with a noise level ± 1 x 10-7 RI. It is suitable especially when samples do not exhibit sufficient absorption in UV and VIS regions of spectrum (e.g. sacharides, alcohols, etc.), or mobile phase absorbs strongly in UV region (toluene, benzene, etc.).
