FO-0356 and FO-0359 Metal Filters

They are used for filtering a mobile phase. Pore size of these filters is 2 µm. A FO-0356 filter is connected to a 1/16" O.D. capillary, while FO-0359 filter to a 1/8" O.D. capillary.

Metal filter with a screw

The filter with a 2 µm pore size consists of a metal porous section and an end tip with a CTFE screw. The filter can be connected to the pump inlet by a PTFE tube 2 x 0.5 mm (I.D. x wall thickness), which is an accessory of LCP 4000 and LCP 4100 pumps, or may be delivered on a special order.

PTFE filter with a screw

The filter with a 10 µm pore size consists of a PTFE porous section and a PTFE end tip and a screw. The filter can be connected to LCP 4000 and LCP 4100 pumps by a PTFE tube 2 x 0.5 mm (I.D. x wall thickness), which is an accessory of the pumps, or may be delivered on a special order.

Sample filters

The filters are designed for filtration of small volumes of samples and may be connected to LUER syringes. The sample is sucked with the syringe through the filter and then may be injected to the loop. The filters are not designed for use under higher pressures.

PTFE microfilter(package of 20): pore size 0.45 µm. It is designed for filtration of samples in organic solvents.

Nylon microfilter(package of 20): pore size 0.45 µm. It is designed for filtration of aqueous samples.

Glass microfilter(package of 20): pore size 3 µm. It is designed for filtration of heavily contaminated samples (fruit and vegetable juices, soil extracts, etc.).

In-line filters

O-0377 In-line filter: to protect a column from particles > 0.5 µm. The filter is installed between an injection valve and a column. The filter design provides a minimum peak broadening. Internal replaceable frit has a diameter of 3 mm. The filter is supplied with through-screws, ferrules and capillaries.

FO-0378 Spare frit:The frit diameter is 3 mm with a pore size 0.5 µm. The frit is used in FO-0377 in-line filters.
