It can be used to sample most dry products including powders, granules, etc. from a range of containers. Designed to minimize jamming due to trapped product. The device can be totally stripped down for quick and efficient cleaning: the screw-on stainless steel tip is removable, the inner rod can be pulled out of the outer barrel.

Method of use - 1) The sampler is pushed into the product to the required depth with the tip withdrawn. 2) the handle is then pushed down thus pushing the tip into the product. 3) to secure the sample around the tip the barrel is pushed down. 4) To deposit the sample push down the handle and the product will fall into a receiving container.
