Newly Released Gold Certified Reference Materials Now Available
We are pleased to announce the release of 13 new Certified Reference Materials (CRMs), including the return of the highly sought after gold CRM OREAS 240c (5.51 ppm Au), now available to replace its predecessor OREAS 240b (5.65 ppm Au).
This latest release ensures continued supply of a widely used gold reference material for laboratories requiring robust quality control in ore-grade gold analysis.
About OREAS 240c
OREAS 240c has been prepared from a blend of gold-bearing ore sourced predominantly from the Frogs Leg Gold Mine. The material represents quartz–carbonate vein-hosted gold mineralisation within mafic–ultramafic greenstones, providing a well-characterised matrix suitable for routine assay validation and method performance monitoring.
Fifty-three commercial analytical laboratories participated in the interlaboratory program used to certify the reported elements, ensuring a robust statistical foundation for assigned values and associated uncertainties.
