We offer more than 130 OREAS® gold CRMs to cover a broad range of mineralization styles and grades including orogenic, Carlin, epithermal, porphyry copper-gold, IOCG, Witwatersrand, VMS and magmatic. Designed for seamless QC integration, each gold CRM comes with a downloadable Certificate of Analysis and Data Pack, providing comprehensive details on the preparation and certification process.
A range of packaging sizes are available, including 60 g sachets, as well as 500 or 1 kg jars depending on matrices. Additionally, we provide separate gold certification for multiple analytical methods, including fire assay, aqua regia digestion, cyanide leach and Photon Assay.
Optimized Homogeneity
The highly malleable nature of gold is often associated with the belief that only synthetic materials or gold ores known to contain fine grained and homogenously distributed mineralization can be used to make Certified Reference Materials. Our proprietary processing technology ensures uniformity across all products, effectively overcoming challenges associated with difficult source materials e.g. gold ores. OREAS® is the only manufacturer that tests and guarantees homogeneity in all Gold and Platinum Group Elements (PGEs) CRMs, regardless of the presence of coarse gold in the source material.
After processing, OREAS® gold reference materials undergo rigorous homogeneity testing using instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA)—a highly precise, non-destructive technique capable of analyzing samples as small as 85 mg.
